SYTYCD 2012 – Our favorite guest judges

Only two episodes into So You Think You Can Dance Season 9 and already one of my favorite guest judges sat at the table – Jesse Tyler Ferguson. But he’s not the only one I like to see critiquing the dancers alongside Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy.

While the regular choreographers often sit down at the table, I wanted to take a look at some of the other celebrities that judge the dancers.

SYTYCD 2012: Ratings Are Up

FOX was the number one network among adults 18-49 and  total viewers on Wednesday night thanks to So You Think You Can Dance 2012.

SYTYCD earned a 2.6 among adults 18-49 up 8 percent from a 2.4 for last week’s premiere.

CBS came in a close second with 6.55 million viewers, but was far behind Fox’s average 18-49 rating with just a 1.3. The network’s new reality seriesDogs in the Citypremiered premiered with 6.66 million viewers, more than SYTYCD’s first hour. However, it drew just a 1.4 18-49 rating. CBS ran repeats for the rest of the night with Criminal Minds and CSI drawing 5.9 million and 7 million viewers, respectively. – Celebrity Cafe

SYTYCD 2012 – Los Angeles Auditions

In week two of So You Think You Can Dance Season 9, Cat and the judges head to Los Angeles to see what talent they can find. Hanging out at the judges table with Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe this week is Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson, one of my favorite  guest judges of last season.

So You Think You Can Dance 2012: Los Angeles Auditions Tonight

SYTYCD Season 9 Los Angeles auditions

So You Think You Can Dance 2012 continues tonight with the second audition episode. This time around, we’re heading to Los Angeles.

The two-hour episode takes us to the SYTYCD stage as Nigel, Mary and the guest judge looks for the Season 9 talent. The official episode description says:

The search continues for America’s Favorite Dancer as SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE heads to Los Angeles. See what happens when the best dancers–skilled in everything from Ballroom and Ballet to Salsa, Jive, Hip Hop and Krumping–all compete for a ticket to Las Vegas. See who struts into the judges’ hearts and who trips up.
