Too Much To Tivo is turning the tables on the choreographers, each week judging their artistry, uniqueness and how well they complimented the contestants.

It’s rare (if ever) that I say this, but Sonya Tayeh stole the show with her contemporary routing for Marko and all-star Allison. Finally, Sonya did something that didn’t involve aliens, demons or some other monstrous creature. This beautiful routine earned a standing ovation, bring guest judge Lady Gaga and ballroom queen Mary Murphy to tears (and I was crying right along with them.

Sonya continued on her hot streak with a strong jazz number for Sasha and Melonie. Mary Murphy called the dance the best of the night, and went one step further, saying it was the best routine Sonya has ever choreographer for the show.

But while Sonya redeemed herself this week, Tyce Diorio continues to fail to impress. His jazz routine for Jordan and all-star Ade felt more like a dance recital number than one for a reality show competition.

Mandy Moore once again shined with her contemporary piece for Melonie and Neil. Moore also received the big standing O and Mary Murphy said she would be surprised if this number was nominated for an Emmy.
