SYTYCD 2012: Top 20 Dance Tonight

Tonight So You Think You Can Dance 2012 gets into full swing with the first live show of the season. That’s right, your SYTYCD 2012 Top 20 will partner up and dance for your votes, America.

The two-hour live performance show kicks off at 8 pm on Fox andy he Top 20 have been paired into 10 couples and have worked with choreographers to compose a dance routine representing their assigned genre. Be sure to check back a little later for the complete recap of the Top 20 performances.

OK, my favorite dance of the night was the cat dance with Amelia and Will. Amelia is not my favorite girl (yet) but she was so great in this “role” that I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. As for Will, I didn’t really even notice him because Amelia was so amazing.
Second favorite was Eliana and Cyrus doing Tyce D’s Broadway number. Man, I was so scared for Cyrus, but I thought he was FANtastic! His hair is so distracting, though. Is it just me?
My least favorite routine was Amber and Nick’s Viennese Waltz. They both did a good job with it but the chemistry is just not there.
The girls I think should be eliminated are: Janaya and Amber
The guys are: Chehon and Nick
My favorite girls are: Witney, Alexa, and Amelia
My favorite guys are: George, Cyrus, and Cole
. . . so far, that is!
